Συνείδηση της δημοκρατίας
Conscience of Democracy is being launched to address the problems of the challenges of Democracy in the New World Order.
The United States of America is celebrated as the Mother of Democracy and has been spending so much in human resources to promote democracy worldwide. But, her pursuits are being challenged daily by the adverse forces of dictatorship and tyranny in Africa, the Middle East and Asia where undemocratic elements are abusing and violating the Rule of Law. Because, the practice of democracy is hinged on the Rule of Law. The most challenging trials of democracy have caused nightmares for billions of humans suffering the violations of their fundamental human rights from the last century to date. Millions of lives have been lost in the oppression and suppression of the civil rights of the people and in most cases, the worst hit are the millions of helpless and powerless poor masses in underdeveloped countries. Even in America, voices of opposition are echoing among the so called liberals and left wing democrats who are protesting the travesty of liberty in America with several litigations over religion, abortion, sexual preferences and other contentious issues of the facts of life in our existential struggle for survival on planet earth.
The Conscience of Democracy will address all the problems of democracy in content and context. And the Conscience of Democracy will not regard anyone better or higher than another. The Conscience of Democracy will only regard everybody according to what is right or wrong in the Rule of Law.
The motto of the Conscience of Democracy is, "For Justice, Peace and Unity."
You are welcome to join us in our commitment to the sustainable development of democracy in the advancement of modern civilization for the benefit of humanity.
God bless.
Yours faithfully,
Chioma Toniyah.
