Ode To Liberty Alexander Pushkin

Alexandr Pushkin
d.o.b. 5-26-1799 d. 1-29-1837 shot in stomach.

friends with pre-Decembrists
secret societies, but never trusted with plot-plans.
They never trust poets.
belonged to Green Lamp
which may have been a branch of the Union of Welfare,
freethinking orgiasts and partisans of Liberty.

Pushkin’s cry of "Tremble, o tyrants of the world And you... o fallen slaves, arise!"

(Ode to Freedom, 1817)
may not have been so loudly heard in the casinos of Petrograd but it is said that the revolutionary poems of his youth were so sung in the mind that the soldiers in the barracks knew them by heart—9 of 10, it is said, of the young in Russia then re- ceived their revolutionary input from Pushkin.

His political poems, like the secret Russian tracts of to- day, were passed from hand to hand in manuscript. The fuzz were hip to the trip, and harassed Pushkin.
In 1820, he nearly was bricked into prison, so chose a period of exile in the south. During These years of police surveillance, Pushkin gradually began to soften under the pressure, becoming "more objective"—that is, secreting his revolutionary politics in narrative. 6 years of police harassment, til Sept of 1826, the new Czar, Nicolas I, summoned him to Moscow, and announced that he, the Czar, henceforth would be the poet’s "censor." And although the poet’s formal exile was over, the chief of the Russian Secret Police kept him under the shackles of surveillance. Pushkin had to submit all his writings to the Czar for approval.

In March of 1826, he was to write in a letter, "I do not intend foolishly to oppose the generally accepted order." (As, and probably under similar fearful pressure, William Blake in 1791 had decided not to print The French Revolution.)

Three years Pushkin in Moscow and Petrograd, a dissipated period of surveillance, drinking, gambling, fucking—wrote very little—a right-winger’s vision of paradise for a poet. 1927/8/9 And in the 1830’s Pushkin studied in the Russian State Archives going back to the texts and documents.
Pressure..........force the poets
pressure..........to weaken
pressure..........the force of their beliefs.
Never Again.

At the great religious festivals of antiquity, the poets sang/chanted for prizes— and in the era of the Investigative Poet the Diogenes Troubador Data Squad will chew their way into the gory dressing room of Richard Helms.
But what is the prize?
The prize is for the poets to assume their rightful positions as chroniclers of the Time Track, of the historical moment whether century, aeon, hour or microsecond.

As Olson said: "I would be an historian as Herodotus was, looking for oneself for the evidence of what is said."
But what is the prize?
The prize is for Diogenes Eleutherarchs waving the banner of enforced economic equality to weaken, to lessen, and to bring down into the vale of Ha Ha Hee.
The North American CIA Police State, and for poets never again to internalize grovelness.

Η συνείδηση της δικαιοσύνης
The Conscience of Justice

There can be no democracy where there is no Rule of Law. Because, justice is the essence of the importance of democracy. And the justice we believe is not the blindfolded goddess with a glittering sword and scales. Because, we don't want justice to be blindfolded. Because, she has been blindfolded, that is why she has been led astray by the millions of people who have told lies whilst taking oath in courtrooms and public offices and the draconian tyrants have killed, murdered and exterminated millions of innocent people throughout the ages. For where there is no law, lawlessness rules.

Oh, Lady Justice
Because, you are blind
You cannot see the atrocities of humankind.
You cannot see the truth that has been trampled upon in the stampede of the rat race.
And cannot tell right from wrong
So, you have been deceived by the liars
Who swear and sneer at you.
And you cannot see them.

"Justice is justly represented blind, because she sees no difference in theparties concerned. She has but one scale andweight, for rich and poor, great and small. Her sentence is not guided by the person, but the cause.... Impartiality is the lifeof justice, as that is of government." -- William Penn

But the words of William Penn have become mere words corrupted and polluted by the abuse and misuse of power in violations of the Rule of Law.

Συνείδηση της δημοκρατίας

Conscience of Democracy

The earth is not our burden. We are the burden of the earth.
Man's inhumanity to man has done more damage to the earth than all the natural disasters in the past one hundred years of warfare in the world.

Συνείδηση της δημοκρατίας

Conscience of Democracy is being launched to address the problems of the challenges of Democracy in the New World Order.

The United States of America is celebrated as the Mother of Democracy and has been spending so much in human resources to promote democracy worldwide. But, her pursuits are being challenged daily by the adverse forces of dictatorship and tyranny in Africa, the Middle East and Asia where undemocratic elements are abusing and violating the Rule of Law. Because, the practice of democracy is hinged on the Rule of Law. The most challenging trials of democracy have caused nightmares for billions of humans suffering the violations of their fundamental human rights from the last century to date. Millions of lives have been lost in the oppression and suppression of the civil rights of the people and in most cases, the worst hit are the millions of helpless and powerless poor masses in underdeveloped countries. Even in America, voices of opposition are echoing among the so called liberals and left wing democrats who are protesting the travesty of liberty in America with several litigations over religion, abortion, sexual preferences and other contentious issues of the facts of life in our existential struggle for survival on planet earth.

The Conscience of Democracy will address all the problems of democracy in content and context. And the Conscience of Democracy will not regard anyone better or higher than another. The Conscience of Democracy will only regard everybody according to what is right or wrong in the Rule of Law.

The motto of the Conscience of Democracy is, "For Justice, Peace and Unity."

You are welcome to join us in our commitment to the sustainable development of democracy in the advancement of modern civilization for the benefit of humanity.

God bless.

Yours faithfully,
Chioma Toniyah.
